Cross-Crawl Marching |
Cross-crawl marching is one of the best ways to activate your brain and give it the proper sensory stimulus it needs to take control of your bodily functions and prevent or rehabilitate problems. This exercise should only be done to EARLY fatigue, meaning that at the first sign that your muscles are tired, stop the exercise. Ideally, you should perform between 200-500 marches a day. A "march" is considered to be the raising of one arm and one leg. Perform the exercise as follows: March in place, lifting opposite leg and opposite arm as high as possible. Speed is not as important as full range of motion. The more motion you achieve, the more stimulus your brain receives. Again, stop at early fatigue. |
